Go mountain biking around Naturns near Meran
With the mountainbike through Vinschgau
(44 km - 4,5 hours - difference in altitude 1500 m):
Take the Bahnhofstrasse from Naturns and then the Bergstrasse up the Norderberg as far as the last farm houses where the forestry road to the Naturnser Alm begins. Cycle up path 9a which turns to the right behind the Alm. Please note that path 30 is not recommended! A short climb leads to an old cart path along the high plateau till you get to where you cross over path no 9. Stay on the same path to Vigljoch then downwards to Aschbach either on path no 28 or along the forestry road further along. Then take the asphalt road to Toll and the cycle path back to Naturns.

The Meran/o Bike Highline is a mountain pasture trail with starting point at 800 m a.s.l. in the village of Rio Lagundo/Aschbach, connecting the individual pastures of Naturno/Naturns and the Nörderberg mountain. The 25km long Meran/o Bike Highline is suitable for both beginners and more experienced cyclists, and runs from 1,450m to 1,900m in altitude.
Mountain bikers can reach the Meran/o Bike Highline (and its four new trails Lupo, Fontana, Ötzi and Stuanbruch) with the Aschbach Cable Car in the village of Rablà/Rabland, with one of the bike-taxis offered by the Naturno Tourist Office or via mountain bikes directly from the villages Tel/Töll, Plaus, Naturno, Cirlano/Tschirland, Ciardes/Tschars or Castelbello/Kastelbell.
